Panopticon & Waldgeflüster - split (2016)

PANOPTICON / WALDGEFLUSTER "split"

Year: 2016
Genre: Atmospheric Black Metal
Country: USA / Germany

Track List:

  2. Norwegian Nights (Waldgeflüster)
  3. Håkan's Song (Panopticon)
  4. Trauerweide II (Panopticon)
bandcamp

As you can see, I don't really care much about this blog anymore, and the other contributors aren't very active either. On the other hand, I had some talks with the members of the TDSAU collective, and one of their founding members agreed to run this blog too. As of now he isn't active on here or on TDSAU, but I hope he will be back soon.

In other news: some time ago, one of my readers asked me why wouldn't I get a contributor from Latin America, because a lot of interesting RABM-related stuff comes from that part of the world. Looks like I finally did it, and I have high hopes for her participation as well.

And for those who haven't seen it yet: here's a new CD from Panopticon, and it's great as always. The second band on this split is really good too, but I don't know much about them - except I've seen them on some list of bands with anti-NSBM stance several years ago. If you need a download link for this split, I think you'd easily find it without my help.

  1. Hejhej!
    Nice that this blog exists.

Waldgeflüster has recently played at our collectivly-organized restaurant in st.gallen (www.schwarzerengel.ch). They liked my poster stating "no racism, no sexism, no homophobia, no nsbm". They liked the idea of the collective restaurant and as far as I know they always took stand against nsbm.
And even if they may be not sooo political, for sure they are really open and nice persons whom I felt really comfortable with - and as this was my first blackmetal concert to organize and I didn't know what to expect, I was totally surprised in a positive way.
I thought I add this comment, so you may know a small little bit more about them.
cheers and a lot of strength to go on with the blog and the ideas behind it,
    Reto
